Bridey graduated from Otago University in 2014, with both a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Law. Bridey was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in December 2015. Bridey works in the areas of company and commercial law including the sale and purchase of businesses, financing and leases. She also acts in relation to residential conveyancing, trusts and estates.

Outside of work, Bridey enjoys participating in a wide range of sports including triathlons, marathons, white water kayaking and snowboarding. Bridey is a past New Zealand sports representative and in representing New Zealand she has travelled both to Australia and the Czech Republic, however her interest in travelling has also taken her further to include much of Europe, parts of Asia and America.
