Simon has been involved in most aspects of legal practice since 1975 and was previously a partner in a large national law firm. He established Blackwells in 1989 to provide services to a wide variety of clients ranging from small and medium size businesses, individuals and family trusts, to corporate organisations and charitable trusts.

Simon’s main areas of work encompass most aspects of business and commercial law, particularly in relation to property transactions, but also with regard to acquisitions and disposal of businesses of all sizes, restructuring and financing. He has acted for national franchising chains as well as individual franchises and licensees and advises both business owners and workers on employment issues.

As a Notary Public, Simon is frequently called on to authenticate documents for use overseas.
